BIO
Ayinde Anderson is an award-winning cinematographer born in Brooklyn New York, and raised in Raleigh North Carolina. Ayinde earned his Master’s degree in cinematography at the American Film Institute, and also studied film under Michael Chapman ASC and Thomas Ackerman ASC at the North Carolina School of the Arts.
His feature film, NORTH HOLLYWOOD, screened in the prestigious Camerimage Film Festival in the Debut Feature Cinematographer’s section in 2021. Ayinde’s work also spans commercials, working for brand like Adidas, Levis, and Beats by Dre, as well as music videos for artists like Drake, Pharrell, and Tinashé.
There are no set parameters for what projects he’s seeking out. There’s only the hope that his collaborators are pursuing a fresh way of presenting the subject matter, with aims to treat each project as singularly as possible.
